JESSIE CARBONARO
VP, Production Talent - Warner Bros. Pictures Animation
Animation industry veteran Jessie Carbonaro recently joined Warner Brothers Pictures Animation as their VP of Production Talent. In this role, she collaborates closely with the Executive Vice President of Production Talent, overseeing talent acquisition and development. Jessie is instrumental in cultivating and maintaining relationships within the animation communities, while also managing the recruiting experience to attract amazing talent to join WBPA.
With a 20-year tenure in the Animation Industry, Jessie brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Prior to joining Warner Brothers, she served as the Director of Talent Acquisition for Feature Animation at Netflix where she led a recruiting team and helped build the studio over her four years in the position. Jessie embarked on her career in television as a producer/writer, transitioning to DreamWorks in 2004 to pursue her passion for animation.
During her time at DreamWorks, Jessie served as a production supervisor, contributing to projects such as Madagascar, Madagascar 2, Shrek the Third, Shrek Forever After, Puss in Boots, and Home. In 2015, she transitioned from production into talent acquisition, and has since held positions and executive roles at DreamWorks Animation, Skydance Media, Netflix Animation, and now at Warner Brothers Pictures Animation. With her experience and dedication to the animation field, Jessie continues to be a driving force in shaping the talent landscape within the animation industry.
Jessie is an active member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and Women in Animation (WIA).
